φρόνησις

practical wisdom — put into practice.

Every tile behind this word is a real child, mentor, or field day. We inspire young people through Christ — through evangelism, education, and Field of Grace — the way character is actually built: through repetition, patience, and people who keep showing up.

The name

φρόνησις

The Greeks called it the wisdom to do the right thing, in this moment, for this person. We call it faith, lived out.

Not book knowledge. Not good intentions in the abstract. Phronesisis judgment formed by practice — guided, for us, by the Word of God. It’s why we chose a playing field, not just a pulpit, as one of our starting points. A match tests a child’s patience and honesty faster than a lecture ever will, and it gives a mentor something real to talk about afterward.

Our flagship program

Field of Grace

Once a year, we gather children from four orphanage homes for a day of competitive games, joined by Christian influencers who come as guests and mentors for the day. Every child leaves with a certificate. Every team leaves with a trophy for something the scoreboard doesn’t measure.

What we hold to

Three convictions behind every field day.

01 · φρόνησις

Phronesis

Practical wisdom — not just knowing what's right, but doing it in the moment it's needed. Guided by the Word of God, it's the standard we hold ourselves to before we hold anyone else to it.

02

Grace on the field

Character is easiest to talk about and hardest to practice. We chose sport because a match will test a child's patience and honesty faster than a lecture will.

03

Known by name

A community field day only matters if it leads somewhere smaller — a mentor, a small group, someone who remembers your name and prays for you by it the following week.
